I’ve just played through the Battle of the Morannon in lotro and I wish that it was 100% clear whether or not Lothrandir survived. I didn’t see any mention of him dying but I can’t find him anywhere after the battle.
He’s my favourite of the Rangers who has Suffered Enough for one thing, but I will admit that I kind of ship him with Palasha and would like room to imagine them having some sort of happy ending.
Especially since the other character who I headcanoned her to have romantic interest in also died and I have an uncanny knack of being drawn towards tragic ships that makes me nervous for his fate.
Here’s my hobbit Palasha Loamsdown, level 109 minstrel, historian and all round sweetheart. I love her.
14) Favourite Outfit
The top outfit is my main adventuring costume – it is the short elven tunic and Legolas’ cloak, dyed dark mossy green. The second outfit is my favourite casual outfit, the farmer’s fancy dress and the sage’s pack, dyed dark green. The third outfit is the inn-league cloak and the Yule tunic and trousers, dyed dark clay. Plus the flower crown. I’ll be wearing a flower crown all the way to the slopes of Mount Doom.

I’m going with non canon ones here:
Horn and Nona (and Corudan who I sadly don’t have a screenshot of). The best buddies to ride through Rohan with.
Palasha would die a thousand painful deaths for Lothrandir and so would I.
Palasha and her best dwarf bros.
Sigileth of the Hidden Guard. I cosmetically equipped her dagger so Palasha can still use it.
And Narmeleth, the most interesting and compelling NPC in the whole game, in my opinion, anyway!
